I have been using a great piece of open source software recently to move files around (SSH keys, family photos, whatever):

copyparty

This software rules. One file to install, parallel downloads / uploads, access controls, etc. It runs on anything (server-side), including Android and iOS via a-Shell. It also lets you connect with basically any browser, including Internet Explorer 4, Nintendo 3DS, and Opera for the Nintendo Wii.
